The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau has just launched a beta version of a college cost comparison tool.

ASD's comment is incomplete. The CFPB ran the beta test during May 2012. Just to be clear: the tool is **not** to compare the costs of several colleges, but to help students compare the different financing costs after they have selected a school to attend.
